clypd was just ranked by Entrepreneur as having a top company culture!
Entrepreneur’s Top Company Cultures list is a comprehensive ranking of US-based businesses exhibiting high-performance cultures created in partnership with culture management software CultureIQ. The Top Company Cultures list placed clypd as the 20th best in the small companies category. The award recognizes clypd for creating an exceptional culture that drives employee engagement, exceeds employee expectations and directly impacts company success.
We are thrilled to receive this recognition by Entrepreneur. We believe that company culture is one of the main drivers in creating a successful and healthy company and this award is a validation of the entire team’s effort to build a great place to work.
As Joshua Summers, clypd CEO and co-founder recently said, “We spend a lot of time focusing on making sure that our culture can live and breathe and organically exist. You can’t design a culture. You can’t say, ‘Here is what I want it to be’ and all of a sudden make that happen. The team builds that culture. It evolves and so every person we bring in has to work within that culture, has to be complementary to it or you risk ruining that culture. We spend a lot of time finding the right people to help build and grow our company culture.”
The full list, presenting a total of 75 companies categorized as small, medium or large enterprises—25-49 employees, 50-99 employees and more than 100 employees— is available on Entrepreneur.com. Core insights, behaviors and attributes that have helped to shape the high-performing cultures presented by the top companies are shared alongside practices to help other companies work on their own workplace environments.
The rankings for all companies were determined using CultureIQ’s methodology for measuring high-performance cultures. Employees at each company received a survey of 21 short, multiple-choice questions. The answers were used to assess a company’s strength across 10 core qualities of culture – performance focus, support and innovation, to name a few. These quality strength scores were combined with the employee Net Promoter Score to create a cumulative CultureIQ Score. The companies with the highest CultureIQ Scores became the Top Company Culture list in ranking order. To be considered for the ranking, a company must have at least 25 employees, have been founded before Jan. 1, 2014 and be headquartered in the U.S.
