clypd operates an advertising sales platform (“Platform”) to facilitate programmatic access to television advertising inventory on behalf of media owners and publishers (“Suppliers”). Our goal is to provide Suppliers with a mechanism to efficiently sell their advertising inventory and to enable Advertisers to reach the consumers (“Consumers”) that meet their advertising campaign goals.

clypd is a responsible participant in the advertising ecosystem and committed to protecting personal information regarding Consumers and individuals who access our sites and services (“Users”) on behalf of Suppliers and Advertisers and adhering to all applicable privacy laws and industry guidelines. This privacy policy explains what information we collect, how we use it in relation to the services we provide Suppliers and Advertisers and how we secure it.

The Platform does not directly deliver advertising; as a result, the Platform does not directly collect information from Consumers. Suppliers and third parties may, and often do, collect information from Consumers. This information may be provided to clypd in anonymized or aggregated form for audience characterization and measurement. clypd does not accept, use, store or convey any information about a Consumer which (1) can be used to distinguish or trace an individual‘s identity, such as name, social security number, date and place of birth, mother‘s maiden name, or biometric records; or (2) is linked or linkable to an individual, such as medical, educational, financial, and employment information (“personally identifiable information”).

In the event that Consumers elect to correspond with us via e-mail, the postal service, or other form of communication, clypd may retain the content of such communications together with any personally identifiable information connected therewith and clypd’s responses thereto. clypd may also receive information about Consumers from other sources, such as our agents, vendors and service providers, and from publicly available sources. clypd may retain such correspondence and the information contained therein and use such information to respond to inquiries and/or provide notifications. Importantly, e-mail and postal address information received by clypd from Consumers relating to the Platform is never sold or otherwise shared or disclosed to third parties for their independent use unless: (i) a Consumer so requests or authorizes same or (ii) the information is provided to (a) comply with the law (for example, to comply with a search warrant, subpoena or court order), (b) enforce an agreement, or (c) protect clypd’s or others’ rights, property or safety.

clypd does not knowingly solicit, collect, store, share or use information about children under the age of 13. If we become aware of information on the Platform that relates to a child under 13, clypd will take commercially reasonable steps to delete that information.

How We Use Consumer Data

clypd shares aggregated and anonymized Consumer data stored on the Platform in order to provide and enhance our products and services with Suppliers and Advertisers and other third parties.
